Robert Campbell Passes at 88

Southwestern Michigan College is mourning the passing of Robert Campbell of Dowagiac.
Mr. Campbell retired in 2001 after 28 years at SMC as Dean of Financial Aid.
He joined the staff in 1973 as assistant dean-director of placement.
Mr. Campbell held bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.
Mr. Campbell passed away Thursday evening, Sept. 19, at home with his family by his side. He was 88.
A service to celebrate his life takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at First United Methodist Church, 326 N. Lowe St., Dowagiac, where friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until service time.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Southwestern Michigan College Foundation, 58900 Cherry Grove Road, Dowagiac, or to the church.
