13 Instrumentalists Perform at SMC Spring Recital

Thirteen instrumental musicians performed April 30 at Southwestern Michigan College Department of Visual and Performing Arts’ spring semester recital in the theatre of the Dale A. Lyons Building on the Dowagiac campus.
Playing were:
- Daniel Moler, alto saxophone.
- Aliya Leavitt, trombone.
- Benjamin Wood, tuba.
- Seth Kalina, tenor saxophone.
- Connor Vance, trumpet.
- Madison Sutherland, clarinet.
- Juan Garcia, trumpet.
- Zayne Hunsberger, guitar.
- Joseph Rizzo, tenor saxophone.
- Justin Reske, trombone.
- Logan Lampe, guitar.
- Dakotah Chandler, clarinet.
- Owen Lingle, trombone.
They were joined afterwards by their teachers, Director of Bands Mark Hollandsworth; Christine Seitz, collaborative pianist; and applied music faculty, who include Bill Clark, trombone; Mike Davis, guitar; Scott Kurtzweil, clarinet; Danny Lopez, trumpet; and Leo Schlaifer, saxophone.
