Interested in athletic training? Start your path at Southwestern Michigan College.

Athletic trainers (ATs) are vital health care professionals and essential members of today’s health care teams. They are highly skilled in the prevention of injury and illness, as well as the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of emergency, acute, and chronic conditions. ATs can be found everywhere—from athletic sidelines and military bases to warehouse floors, performance venues, clinics, and hospitals—providing a safer approach to work, life, and sport.
